A selection of recently completed projects.

Iroka gates made an impact at the house above as we have had many enquiries since this project was finished.

The wardrobe was much needed hanging space and a cleverly hidden en suite through the doors.

The 2x1 racking was a linen store in a hospital ward.

And finally the decking and cladding filled a wasted space and repaired an ailing wall at a golf club which otherwise had no outside eating area.

This Sidmouth renovation included raising the roof 3ft to allow for a loft conversion.It also had a new conservatory, patio,barbque,decking and lots of clever ideas to hide services such as the meterbox in its own cupboard to match the rest of the dwelling.We also laid a new gravel driveway and placed edging timbers for the garden beds and boarders.

This wardrobe has become a stunning feature in the master bedroom of a 200 year old rectory.It has two very large base draws and a huge amount of hanging space each side of an adequately sized dressing table and overhead storage unit.It is constructed from furniture grade mdf and Douglas fir.

Edginswell Business Park

This is a large scale, multiple building development.

Real Timber Carpentry are the carpentry contractors on this particular site.

Innovative design and craftsmanship are on display throughout this commercial project.

This residential property in Kingsbridge, Devon was a new build.

We were engaged for the fitting of Fascia Boards, Soffits, Windows, Skirting Boards, Doors, Door Latches and Door Frames.

We also fitted the Shower Cubicles and the Staircase.

Commercial project

Cricklepit Mill is the headquarters of the Devon Wildlife Trust, based in the Quay at Exeter, Devon. This renovation and development won an architectural award. Decking, structural work to the new extension, structural alterations to the roof trusses in the old building. The existing roof space was too low so we were given the task to try and provide head room. We supported the whole roof whilst we raised the truss beams that span the roof. We also put a new timber floor around the old flour mill. Boarded the old ceiling and some wall cladding.

On the new extension all of the cladding was erected by RTC. Also the timber structure, flat eco-friendly green roof, spinal column to the staircase and flooring were constructed or laid by RTC.

Langage Energy Centre

Langage energy centre in Plympton, Devon, needed bespoke, first fix timber work on this brand new building.

Second fix timber work including new architraves and bulkhead works were also done.

This was another large scale commercial project RTC were involved with.

A large residential project in Topsham, Devon.

This old dance hall was being converted to a private dwelling and we were asked to complete all the carpentry including first and second fix and the bespoke and specialist timber work. Cladding, spiral staircase, decking, internal oak staircases, windows and doors were also on the agenda

The dresser/wall unit needed to be narrower so it was dismantled, taken back to our workshop where it was cut down to size and rejoined to look the same, only narrower!
